Nutcracker

No Christmas is complete without a visit to see Tchaikovsky's classic ballet The Nutcracker at the London Coliseum.

When Clara creeps downstairs on Christmas Eve to play with her brand-new nutcracker she gets the surprise of her life, because when the clock chimes midnight the decorated Christmas tree starts growing and growing through the ceiling!

Her nutcracker soldier then comes to life and battles with the Mouse King, before leading Clara to the Sugar Plum Fairy's home in the Kingdom of Sweets. A magnificent Toytown battle then follows, and romance blossoms with a handsome Prince.

This show is what Christmas is all about -- it's a magical treat for the whole family, and will leave you with a festive glow long after the New Year has been and gone.
