Join conductor Marin Alsop, soprano Laura Claycomb and the London Symphony Orchestra and Chorus at Barbican Hall, as they perform a selection of classical works by Leonard Bernstein and Gustav Mahler.

Bernstein -- Halil, Symphony No 3 (Kaddish)
Mahler -- Adagio from Symphony No 10

Marin Alsop is one of the great female American conductors. Since becoming the first woman to hold the position of music director at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, she has gone on to record a number of other firsts, and is now one of the most high-profile women in conducting.

The London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is the resident orchestra of the Barbican Centre, and has been in operation since 1904 – London’s oldest surviving orchestra.
