Imagine if Hamlet was caught by the police and faced a life behind bars for the murder of Polonius. What would the trial be like? That's what this night is all about.

A cast of actors, including Meera Syal and John Heffernan, will be put on the stand in front of Lady Justice Hallett, and be questioned by the likes of John Kelsey-Fry QC, Jonathan Laidlaw QC, Shaheed Fatima QC and Ian Winter QC.

Young people from the Shakespeare Schools Festival will also give evidence, and every ticket sold will help raise money for their annual Shakespeare Schools Festival.

Note: This isn't meant as a serious piece of Shakespeare -- there are plenty of laughs to be had as well.
