There will be a 62-gun salute at the Tower of London to mark the Queen's birthday.

It will be fired from four 25-pounder guns by the Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) at Gun Wharf (the cobbled path between the Tower of London and the river).

The old girl will be 91 years old this year — and definitely not 21 (again). Like all women, she tries to convince us that she's still 21 (but she's not). But will we finally let her retire and put her feet up for a well-deserved retirement at Windsor Castle? Answer: no.

Guest – “Yes, that is perfect! brilliant indeed. However, unfortunately, I have to schedule British Museum Around the world tour on the same day 21 April 2017 at 2pm (I will only be in London 17-21April 2017). So gun salute at Hyde Park at 12noon just nice tie together with the tour follow by it. ----Unless..I forgo the Around the world tour...Definitely I will schedule tower of london and tower bridge and HMS Belfast on another day. Thanks so much for your prompt and detail info!!It helps a lot!!! THUMPS UP!!”

Admin – “Just in case you decide to do it... this was the Tower of London's reply to our email about re-entry:She must be talking about the curtain wall. It seems like you can view the salute from up there.”
