"L'elisir d'amore" is a jolly comedy opera by Gaetano Donizetti — certainly the most-loved and touching opera he wrote, combining romance and hilarious comedy with some truly beautiful music.

It follows the lovelorn Nemorino as he tries to win the girl of his dreams, and when a travelling charlatan sells him a love potion he thinks that his luck is in... but Adina only has eyes for the handsome Sergeant Belcore. Can Dulcamara's potion do the trick?
