One Night In Miami

Director: Kwame Kwei-Armah;Written by: Kemp Powers;Cast: (the cast may change on different dates) Francois Battiste, Sope Dirisu, Arinze Kene

22-year-old Cassius Clay (aka. Muhammad Ali) has just won the world heavyweight boxing title. But instead of hitting the town to celebrate, he chooses to spend some time with three of his friends: Malcolm X, Sam Cooke and American football star Jim Brown.

"One Night in Miami" is a fictional account of their night in a Miami hotel room, imagining what might have been said with the Civil Rights movement stirring outside, and 'A Change is Gonna Come' playing on the radio.
