Status Quo

If you ever spend Christmas in London, then there are four things that you simply have to see... otherwise it wouldn't be Christmas. Forget mince pies and turkey and carol singers singing on the doorstep. These are the four things that everyone loves about Christmas:

1) The Trafalgar Square Christmas Tree
2) The Nutcracker at the London Coliseum
3) Midnight Mass at St. Paul's Cathedral
4) Status Quo at The O2

Britain's best-loved rockers are still going strong, despite God's best efforts to silence them. Even God can't stop them. They are obviously going to go on forever and ever, so you may as will just give in to the inevitable and buy a ticket.

You've got an extra incentive to go this year, because Francis 'ponytail' Rossi and Rick Parfitt have announced that this will be the last full-on electric show. So this is your last chance to go deaf. We don't think they're retiring, though -- after this they're going back on the acoustics.

Status Quo’s last gigs in London were at SSE Arena Wembley and Old Royal Naval College.
