Do you know what the scariest thing is at the London Dungeon? The queues. And then the screaming kids.

But how about skipping all of that, and visiting the terrifying dungeon after hours... when all kids have been booted out?

London Dungeon Lates is an adults-only event that takes place after hours. Before you enter the catacombs you'll steel your nerves with a Victorian cocktail (probably poisonous) at the Gin Palace Bar, before a visit to the tailor who will deck you out in something fancy... and then you'll take a trip through the city's dark history, guided by a cast of infamous rogues and villains.

There'll be plenty of special effects and storytelling wit along the way... and some truly terrifying scares to make your heart pump faster!

Will you survive a visit to Sweeney Todd's barbers?
Will you get your throat slit in Jack the Ripper's Whitechapel?
Will you catch the Plague from a dirty rat?

This event sounds like the perfect first date to me... take your new girlfriend to the London Dungeon and scare the hell out of her! If she still wants to see you after that, then you'll know she's a keeper.
