"The Bodyguard" chick-flick movie starring Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston has been turned into a West End musical.

The tells the story of Frank Farmer, an ex-Secret Service agent turned bodyguard, who is hired to protect pop singer Rachel Marron from a mystery stalker. Both of them are used to being in control and in charge... but neither of them expects to fall in love.

The musical features a clutch of Whitney Houston's greatest hits including "Queen of the Night", "One Moment in Time", "Saving All My Love", "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" and the smash-hit "I Will Always Love You". Not many singers have a voice good enough to sing Whitney's songs, but Beverley Knight is certainly one of them.

Note: Beverley Knight is currently scheduled to appear at the Tue-Fri evening performances and both performances on Saturday -- apart from the 6 Aug, 31 Aug, 1-3 Sep, 20-21 Sep, 18 Oct, 28 Oct, 12 Nov, 15 Nov, 17 Dec, and 30-31 Dec. The appearance of any particular artist at a show is not guaranteed.
