Brian Cox

TV brainbox Brian Cox is joining forces with comedian Robin Ince for their annual Christmas comedy/science show -- the "Christmas Compendium of Reason".

And yes, it does sound like an extremely strange combination, but trust us -- it works brilliantly.

As usual there will be plenty of music, comedy, wonder and fascination. Expect some quirky quarks, confusing confusions and some very special guests. We don't know who they're going to be just yet, but in previous years they have welcomed the likes of Hugh Grant, Alison Moyet, The Cure... and Dara O'Brien (of course).

What will they have in store us this year?
