Join conductor Sakari Oramo, violinist Carolin Widmann and the BBC Symphony Orchestra at Barbican Hall, as they perform a selection of classical works by Kabalevsky and Shostakovich, including a world premiere by Michael Zev Gordon.

As well as working closely with the BBC, the BBC Symphony Orchestra plays regular concerts at the Barbican and is the principal orchestra of world-famous Proms Concerts, giving around a dozen performances each year, including the prestigious First and Last Nights.
