If you're a cricket fan then this will be a great day out... a guided tour around Lord's and the MCC Museum.

It will take you behind the scenes into the players' dressing rooms and historic Long Room, where you can see the famous Honours Board. You will even be able to have a nose around the bubble-like JP Morgan Media Centre, with its fantastic views across the field.

After that you will head into the MCC Museum where you can see the incredibly tiny Ashes trophy... which we steadfastly refuse to give back to Australia every time they beat us (ha!).

The tour will most likely get you in the mood to see an actual game of cricket... so take a look at the complete cricket fixture list in London. There are plenty more sporting events in London.

If you're looking for something else to do afterwards (of before), then Lord's is not too far away from London Zoo, Madame Tussauds and the Sherlock Holmes Museum.
