Need some inspiration for 1st October? Karl Marx published Das Kapital on this day in 1867, so why not go and visit his grave in Highgate Cemetery? You’ll find it in the eastern half (he’s actually got two), but it’s the western half that’s much more overgrown and atmospheric – you’ll need to book a guided tour for that.
