Need some inspiration for 28th January? Sir Francis Drake died on this day in 1596. The Elizabethean pirate helped to defeat the Spanish Armada and was one of the first people to successfully circumnavigate the globe. You can see a replica of his famous ship, the Golden Hinde, in a dry dock by Southwark Cathedral.
