Need some inspiration for 17th August? The Princes in the Tower were murdered on this day in 1483. Suspicion fell on the Duke of York who usurped the throne as Richard III soon after the uncrowned Edward V and his younger brother disappeared. Their skeletal remains were later found in the Tower of London and buried in Westminster Abbey.
