Events in London - Sunday 14th July

Pick of the day – ICC Cricket World Cup Final at Lord's

The 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup will be taking place between the 30th May and 14th July at grounds across England and Wales. The tournament begins with all ten teams playing each other in a round-robin format. The top four will then proceed to the semi-finals, and the big final will be taking place at Lord's on the 14th July.

Need some inspiration for 14th July? Emmeline Pankhurst was born on this day in 1858. As one of the leading Suffragettes she helped to win the vote for women. Why not visit her grave in Brompton Cemetery? Try and find Beatrix Potter as well – she’s supposed to have got many of her characters’ names from the graves.
