Need some inspiration for 1st August? London Bridge reopened on this day in 1831. The first ship to pass under the rebuilt bridge HMS Beagle – the same ship that would take Charles Darwin on his voyage around the world. It has been rebuilt once more since then, and now offers a fine view of Tower Bridge.
