  • ronette – “A lovely place to spend your lunch hour. I have probably spent more time in foyles book shop than my own house. You can get away from the world outside and because it is so big and has so many floors you can lose yourself in there where no one outside can find you, and have a read and a nice coffee.”
  • JP1964 – “Now that borders has closed down (why? Why?) This is the best bookshop in London. It's big, but still seems nice and pokey inside, like a Friendly library where you can just browse for an hour and have a sit down in the cafe and have a cup of tea. Places like waterstones are great for new book, and books that sell well, but foyles always seems to have a much wider range of titles, and sell books that you'd never find anywhere else. A real treasure!”
