I wish to get from Euston Square to Euston Main Line Station without using stairs. I am travelling from Liverpool Street and understand that there are lifts/escalators available at Euston Square. Is it possible to do this journey in reverse (ie Euston Square to Liverpool St) also using escalators/lifts. Some years ago I did this journey entering Euston Square Tube station on the other side of Euston Road and had to go down 2 flights of stairs which I found quite difficult.

If you look on a tube map youll see that there is no direct train between euston square and euston. Youre better off just walking it -- it is literally just 5 mins down the road (its just a short walk down the euston road).
If you did try and go by tube then you'd probably end up walking a lot further going between the platforms
When you arrive into euston square from liverpool street you can either climb a flight of stairs or get a lift up to the exit

Thanks for reply. I probably confused you (and me). If I walk from Euston Main Line Station to Euston Square and want to travel east towards Liverpool Street do I have to use the tube entrance on the same side as Euston Station (2 sets of stairs) or can I use the entrance on the other side of the road (where I exited on the journey from Liverpool Street) without having to use stairs.

i think i've got you... so you are walking west down the euston road, from euston to euston square. you need to cross over the road and use the entrance on the south side of the euston road to avoid the stairs (you can use a lift instead). if you use the entrance on the north side of the euston road then there is a flight of 24 stairs.
but that only gets you into the ticket hall... and i thought you were coming the other way when I replied earlier (from liverpool street to euston square). if you are travelling the other way then its a different platform. you cant get a lift down to that platform. there will be a flight of 21 stairs. so there's no way to avoid at least one flight of stairs unfortunately.
have you thought about getting a bus? it's only 35 minutes on the 205. it goes directly from the mainline euston station to liverpool street. they run every 5-10 mins. that will probably work out a quicker because you wont have all that walking around
