We will be arriving at Paddington from Heathrow and then via Underground to Kings Cross to travel to York.

How or what Platform do the Circle Line trains operate from and how easy is to find the correct platform? We will have luggage so hopefully there will be a Lift (Elevator) if we need to change levels.

Train from Paddington to King’s Cross St. Pancras

1) From Paddington take the Circle Line
2) Leave the train at King’s Cross St. Pancras

Can you offer Marlene some help with this itinerary?   Why not post a reply?

Unfortunately there's no lift.

I'm not certain which platform you will arrive into from Heathrow, but you'll probably have a flight of 28 stairs to walk down. or you might have 28 up and then 28 down. All you've got to do is look for the platform that's heading towards Edgware Road (not Hammersmith - that's the wrong one)

You could also get a Hammersmith & City eastbound train (heading towards barking), because they go to kings cross as well. they leave from the same platform as the circle line trains, so it will be the same number of stairs
