I will be visiting London for a few days (Friday through Monday) in September. In general, do the museums and other attractions keep same hours of business on weekends as weekdays? Need to know for planning purposes. Thanks

pretty much, but its going to depend on which one you pick because they all have different hours. its usually something like 9 or 10 AM, to 5 PM in the evening, with the last entry one hour before closing time.
some museums or attractions have late openings up until 9 or 10 PM, but they are usually on a thursday or friday.
places like the London Eye and the Shard stay open very late all week round
