First off thanks so much for this site it has been great for planning our trip - Drum boy your reviews are amazing.
We are a family of 6 (2 adults, teenagers - boy and girl & 2 seniors) and will be in London for 2.5 days. WE arrive around 12:00 on Thursday and take the train to Paris Sunday morning. I'm a huge fan of the British Royal family and British history so the focus is Historical/Royal sites. Windsor Castle is a must! My daughter is a theatre student so we want to make sure we get her to the Globe Theatre and we have tickets for Wicked on Friday night. Please let me know if you think this is doable. We are an active family and used to a lot of walking. We've walked all over NYC in all types of weather we are also very comfortable using public transit. Grandma and Grandpa will go at their own pace and may opt out of some of the more vigorous tours.
Arrive LHR 11:30 am - Iceland Air
Customs/Immigrations - transfer to London Marriott Regents Park / check in to hotel freshen up/lunch
14:30 Take Subway to Globe Theatre
15:00 Globe Theatre Tour
19:20 London by night bus tour - is this a good option I'm not a big bus tour person but thought it might be a good way to see the city at night and also give us a good overview of the city and check a few of the must sees off our list.
