Musical in London today: In The Heights at King’s Cross Theatre

 

(Today) to King’s Cross Theatre Classical music in London at the King’s Cross Theatre. "In The Heights" is a Tony Award-winning musical built around the infectious Latin rhythms of salsa and merengue.

The Pianist of Willesden Lane — with live piano25 September“The Pianist of Willesden Lane” tells the story of a young Jewish pianist, who is packed off to London before the war.

“American Idiot” — with the music of Green Day25 September“American Idiot” stars Newton Faulkner and X-Factor finalist Amelia Lily, and uses the music of Green Day.

“Guys and Dolls” — at the Phoenix Theatre25 SeptemberThe Phoenix Theatre is bringing back “Guys and Dolls”, a tale of New York gamblers, gangsters and nightclub singers.

Jersey Boys — The Frankie Valli Story25 September“Jersey Boys” tells the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons’ rise to fame and fortune in the 1960s.

Roald Dahl’s Matilda — The Musical25 SeptemberRoald Dahl’s “Matilda” tells the story of a child who rebels against the grown-ups when she discovers her amazing powers.

“Stomp”, at the Ambassadors Theatre25 September“Stomp” is one of the most original shows in London, as the dancers use everyday props to bash out their beats and rhythms.

Ceremony of the Keys at the Tower of London25 SeptemberThe Ceremony of the Keys is over 700 years old, and represents the traditional locking up of the Tower of London at night.

“The Lion King” — music by Elton John25 SeptemberBased on the Oscar-winning Disney movie, “The Lion King” tells the story of Simba and his adventures in the jungle.

4 O’Clock Parade, or Dismounting Ceremony25 SeptemberThe Dismounting Ceremony (or 4 O’Clock Parade) is a short ceremony that takes place every day at the Horse Guards.
