Do you own your own website? Or your own blog? Have you ever wondered how to get London Drum’s events listings onto it? Well… it’s your lucky day!

We have created an easy-peasy piece of code which you can place on any page you like, which will produce a constantly updating list of events taken straight from our “What’s On” guide… for free!

All you have to do is place the code below where you’d like the events to appear. You will then see a list of events complete with titles, dates, descriptions, and even a picture of the venue.

Webmasters familiar with CSS will find that they come with a series of easy to style CSS hooks — so you can tailor their appearance to the style of your site.

If you have a Wordpress blog, then you’ll be happy to know that we have developed an easy to use plugin especially for you.

(Current version: 1.5)

1. Download zip file (105 KB), and uncompress it. You can also download it directly from the Wordpress plugin directory
2. Upload the resulting ‘london-events-guide’ folder to your ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory
3. Activate the plugin through the Wordpress ‘Plugins’ menu
4. Navigate to ‘Settings > London Events Guide’
5. Select which category of events you’d like from the drop-down box — there are 11 different categories to choose from
6. You can style the listings to match your own site’s appearance using the CSS layout box that we have included in the configuration page
7. And finally… put the following line
<?php london_events(); ?>
into your template where you’d like the listing to appear. You can also drag-and-drop it onto a widgetized sidebar

And that’s it! The listing will now continue to update and stay fresh, without you having to lift a finger.

If you decide that you’d like to remove the plugin, then all you have to do is remove ‘<?php london_events(); ?>‘ from your template, and delete the ‘london-events-guide’ folder from your plugin directory.

These plugins are similar to the main one, except that they show pictures of the artist, team or show poster, instead of a picture of the venue. Please see their accompanying ‘readme.txt’ file for instructions.
