This year's Hampton Court Palace Festival is set against the spectacular backdrop of the Tudor Base Court (one of the palace's main courtyards).

The festival always ends with a special show called 'Fanfare & Fireworks' where the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra performs a selection of classical favourites by the likes of Rossini, Vivaldi, Verdi, Brahms Elgar and Strauss, before blowing everyone's eardrums out with a spectacular fireworks display over the old Tudor Palace.

If you arrive early then you'll be able to enjoy some food and drink in the East Front Gardens (from 5.30 PM). They'll have some open-air bars and gourmet street food stalls set up. You can even bring a picnic and relax in the grounds before the show starts. If you really want to spoil yourself then try one of the VIP Dining Packages which will take place in the State Apartments.
