Opera Holland Park will be putting on a production of Mozart's comic opera Cosi Fan Tutte (The Magic Flute).
Can two faithful couples have their affections changed by a harmless deception? One man decides to find out by betting his two friends that their partners will prove unfaithful in less than a day. Totally confident in the strength of their relationships, both men accept.
They decide to pretend to get called away to war and then return in disguise to woo each other's lover. But in this most sophisticated of operas, no-one escapes unscathed...
Note: The Holland Park Theatre is basically just a big white canopy in the middle of Holland Park, using Holland House as its backdrop. Some of the sides are open to the air (with the canopy acting as a roof), so you might want to wrap up warm. There are some picnic areas and refreshment areas dotted around the site which you can use during the interval and before it starts.
