Leonidas Kavakos is a Greek violinist who has worked with some of the world’s greatest orchestras: the Berlin Philharmonic, Vienna Philharmonic and Royal Concertgebouw. He also enjoyed a brief foray into conducting with the Camerata Salzburg.
The London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is the resident orchestra of the Barbican Centre and is the oldest of London’s symphony orchestras. It was recently rated by Gramophone as one of the top five orchestras in the world.
