Gianandrea Noseda will be conducting the London Symphony Orchestra and Chorus at Barbican Hall, with the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain and tenor Ian Bostridge.
They will be performing some classical music by Shostakovich and James MacMillan.

Gianandrea Noseda is a widely admired Italian conductor who has held the post of Principal Conductor with the BBC Philharmonic and Cadaqués Orchestra. He’s currently Music Director with the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington DC.
The London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is the resident orchestra of the Barbican Centre and is the oldest of London’s symphony orchestras. It was recently rated by Gramophone as one of the top five orchestras in the world.
The London Symphony Chorus is one of the country’s leading symphony choruses with more than 150 singers. It has a close association with the LSO.
