Michael Tilson Thomas will be conducting the London Symphony Orchestra at Barbican Hall, with violinist Janine Jansen.
They will be performing some classical music by Sibelius.

Michael Tilson Thomas is an American conductor and composer. He is renowned for his interpretations of Gustav Mahler and has held the post of Principal Conductor of the London Symphony Orchestra. He is now the Music Director of the San Francisco Symphony.
Violinist Janine Jansen has performed with many of the world’s most prestigious orchestras, including the Philharmonia, Berlin Philharmonic and London Symphony Orchestra. She is reknowned for her emotional phrasings and superb technique.
The London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is the resident orchestra of the Barbican Centre and is the oldest of London’s symphony orchestras. It was recently rated by Gramophone as one of the top five orchestras in the world.
