derekm – “This is nice and small so you feel very close to the musicians, and the acoustics are wonderful, but i much prefer sitting in the gallery that goes all around the room, because when i sit in the middle you are surrounded on both sides and the back by people above you, which is quite uncomfortable, although i am sure it is just me! When you are in the gallery it is just like sitting in a church with the wooden pews, although the ones in the middle are much nicer. The stage is quite roomy, and is very close to the seats. The view from the gallery at the sides is excellent, especially when you are sitting close to the front. You can literally see every note that the musicans are playing!”

Guest – “I have seen many events here and I am surprised that it works for both orchestras and rock and roll. The diary suggests they do a full range of shows here from book launches, conferences music from around the world etc. The stalls are very comfortable and the gallery depending where you sit is also very good. I had never come across the venue as it is tucked away. I now make a point of looking to see whats on.”
