Sir Roger Norrington will be conducting pianist Francesco Piemontesi and the SWR Symphony Orchestra Stuttgart at Cadogan Hall.
They will be performing Beethoven's The Creatures of Prometheus Overture, Piano Concerto No. 3 and Symphony No. 3 (Eroica).
Roger Norrington is a British conductor best-known for his performances of baroque, classical and romantic-era music. He founded the Schutz Choir and has been Principal Conductor of the Camerata Salzburg and Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra.
Francesco Piemontesi has played with many greats including Zubin Mehta, Charles Dutoit, Jiri Belohlavek and Vladimir Ashkenazy. He has appeared at many festivals including the Royal Albert Hall Proms, Aix-en-Provence Festival and Mostly Mozart Festival.
The SWR Symphony Orchestra was created when two great German orchestras merged together: the SWR Symphony and Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra.
