Birthday Party

Director: Ian Rickson; Written by: Harold Pinter; Cast: (the cast may change on different dates) Toby Jones, Stephen Mangan, Zoe Wanamaker, Pearl Mackie, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, Peter Wight

The Birthday Party is Harold Pinter's brilliantly dark-comedy masterpiece about the absurd terrors of the everyday.

It tells the story of Stanley Webber, the only lodger at Meg and Petey's sleepy seaside boarding house. But their humdrum lives are disrupted by the arrival of two enigmatic strangers who turn their comfy mundanity into a world of menace -- beginning with their seemingly innocent birthday party.
