Tina Turner Musical

Director: Phyllida Lloyd; Written by: Katori Hall, Frank Ketelaar, Kees Prins; Cast: (the cast may change on different dates) Adrienne Warren, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, Jenny Fitzpatrick, Madeline Appiah, Aisha Jawando, Ryan O'Donnell, Lorna Gayle, Francesca Jackson, Natey Jones, Tom Godwin, Gerard McCarthy, Kit Esuruoso

This brand-new musical was written in association with Tina Turner herself, and that tells the story of how she rose from her humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee, into the global superstar she became in the 1960s-90s.

She didn't just break the rules -- she rewrote them. She defied the bounds of age, gender and race, and became one of the best-selling artists of all-time, winning 11 Grammies, selling millions of records, and shifting more concert tickets than any other solo performer in history.
