Grayson Perry is one of the few living artists around that absolutely everybody knows, even if they don't particularly like art. And that's not just because of his clothes -- it's because he's turned himself into one of the most astute commentators on contemporary society.

This major exhibition of new work at the Serpentine Gallery explores everything from popularity to masculinity, drawing on his own experiences as a transvestite, as well as issues affecting the wider world such as class, politics, sex and religion.

The exhibition uses a variety of media from cast iron and ceramics to printmaking and tapestry.
