Hamilton was a sensation on Broadway. Now it's coming to London and the newly-refurbished Victoria Palace Theatre.

It tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, a young immigrant who went from being a lowly orphan to George Washington's right hand man -- a journey which saw him transform from a rebel into a fully-fledged war hero. It's a revolutionary tale about America's fiery past, that introduces us to real-life characters like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Hamilton's lifelong friend and foe, Aaron Burr.

Along the way Hamilton gets entangled in the country's first sex scandal, and had the difficult task of making an untrusting world believe in the American economy.
