Queen Anne

Director: Natalie Abrahami; Written by: Helen Edmundson; Cast: (the cast may change on different dates) Emma Cunniffe, Romola Garai

Queen Anne explores the life of one of England's little known sovereigns, who was torn between duty and her friendship with the Duchess of Marlborough.

It begins in 1702 when William III is still on the throne, and England is on the verge of war. With Anne soon to step up and become Queen her advisors start vying for influence over her. And the greatest pressure of all comes from her childhood friend Sarah, the Duchess of Marlborough, who is married to one of the country's greatest generals.
