Imagine this: you've just had a nice long holiday with no stress and no worries, and you're happily relaxing back dreaming about the summer sun, and then all of a sudden you wake up in a blind panic and realise that Christmas Eve is coming -- and your name is Father Christmas!
Cadogan Hall will be screening Raymond Briggs' delightful animated story on a big screen, alongside some live musical accompaniment by the Mozart Symphony Orchestra.
After that will come a performance of Peter And The Wolf -- Prokofiev's much-loved introduction to the instruments of the orchestra, told through the story of the brave boy Peter and his quest to capture a wolf. It's a great way to introduce your kids to orchestral music.
Note: This show is aimed at children above the age of four.
The Mozart Symphony Orchestra was founded by the English conductor Philip Mackenzie and is lead by Mark Messenger, the Head of Strings at the Royal College of Music in London.
