Sir Simon RattleSir Simon Rattle originally rose to fame with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra before beating Daniel Barenboim to the post of Principal Conductor at the Berlin Philharmonic. He is currently Music Director of the London Symphony Orchestra.
