Sir John Eliot Gardiner will be conducting the London Symphony Orchestra at Barbican Hall, with the mezzo-soprano Ann Hallenburg.
They will be performing some classical music by Schumann and Berlioz.

John Eliot Gardiner is an English conductor best-known for his performances of baroque music – especially that of JS Bach. He founded the English Baroque Soloists, Monteverdi Choir and the Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique.
Ann Hallenberg is a Swedish mezzo-soprano who has appeared at many of the world’s great opera houses. She is best-known for singing works by Vivaldi, Handel and Mozart.
The London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is the resident orchestra of the Barbican Centre and is the oldest of London’s symphony orchestras. It was recently rated by Gramophone as one of the top five orchestras in the world.
