John Eliot GardinerJohn Eliot Gardiner is an English conductor best-known for his performances of baroque music – especially that of JS Bach. He founded the English Baroque Soloists, Monteverdi Choir and the Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique.

Ann HallenbergAnn Hallenberg is a Swedish mezzo-soprano who has appeared at many of the world’s great opera houses. She is best-known for singing works by Vivaldi, Handel and Mozart.

London Symphony OrchestraThe London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is the resident orchestra of the Barbican Centre and is the oldest of London’s symphony orchestras. It was recently rated by Gramophone as one of the top five orchestras in the world.
