Performers:

Sir Mark ElderSir Mark Elder is the Music Director of Manchester’s Hallé Orchestra. He has also worked with the London Philharmonic Choir, English National Opera (ENO), BBC Symphony Orchestra and City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.

Francesco PiemontesiFrancesco Piemontesi has played with many greats including Zubin Mehta, Charles Dutoit, Jiri Belohlavek and Vladimir Ashkenazy. He has appeared at many festivals including the Royal Albert Hall Proms, Aix-en-Provence Festival and Mostly Mozart Festival.

London Symphony OrchestraThe London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is the resident orchestra of the Barbican Centre and is the oldest of London’s symphony orchestras. It was recently rated by Gramophone as one of the top five orchestras in the world.
