Join conductor Francois-Xavier Roth, pianist Cedric Tiberghien, the Ladies of the London Symphony Chorus and the London Symphony Orchestra at Barbican Hall, as they perform Debussy's Prelude a l'apres-midi d'un faune, Fantasy for Piano and Orchestra, Jeux, and Three Nocturnes.

Performers:

Francois-Xavier RothFrancois-Xavier Roth was the Principal Conductor of the SWR Sinfonieorchester Baden-Baden und Freiburg, and Chief Conductor of the Cologne Opera, before winning the role of Principal Guest Conductor of the London Symphony Orchestra.

Cedric TiberghienCédric Tiberghien is a French pianist whose wide-ranging repertoire encompasses everyone from Bartok and Brahms to Szymanowksi and Franck. His solo, duo and chamber recordings have picked up four Diapason d’Or.

London Symphony OrchestraThe London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is the resident orchestra of the Barbican Centre and is the oldest of London’s symphony orchestras. It was recently rated by Gramophone as one of the top five orchestras in the world.

London Symphony ChorusThe London Symphony Chorus is one of the country’s leading symphony choruses with more than 150 singers. It has a close association with the LSO.
