Join conductor Sir Simon Rattle and the London Symphony Orchestra and Chorus for a 'Half Six Fix' at Barbican Hall, when they'll perform Leonard Bernstein's Wonderful Town.
Sir Simon Rattle originally rose to fame with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra before beating Daniel Barenboim to the post of Principal Conductor at the Berlin Philharmonic. He is currently Music Director of the London Symphony Orchestra.
The London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is the resident orchestra of the Barbican Centre and is the oldest of London’s symphony orchestras. It was recently rated by Gramophone as one of the top five orchestras in the world.
The London Symphony Chorus is one of the country’s leading symphony choruses with more than 150 singers. It has a close association with the LSO.
