Performers:

Semyon BychkovSemyon Bychkov’s early career saw him conduct the Berlin Philharmonic, New York Philharmonic and Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, before becoming Music Director at the Orchestre de Paris. He now holds the post of Gunter Wand Conducting Chair with the BBC Symphony Orchestra.

Violinist Janine Jansen has performed with many of the world’s most prestigious orchestras, including the Philharmonia, Berlin Philharmonic and London Symphony Orchestra. She is reknowned for her emotional phrasings and superb technique.

London Symphony OrchestraThe London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is the resident orchestra of the Barbican Centre and is the oldest of London’s symphony orchestras. It was recently rated by Gramophone as one of the top five orchestras in the world.
