This event has already passed

I've seen this guy a few times on the telly and I think he's great. The first time you see him you'll think that he's an absolute nutcase (he comes across as a drug-addled nutcase), but then you realise that he is, in fact, a genius!

John Cooper Clarke has been around for decades, ever since 1970s punk, and his biting, satirical and political wit have made him one of our best-loved performance poets. He's recently done an music album with Hugh Cornwell (from the The Stranglers), and they're setting off on a tour together.

You can see them when they play the O2 Forum in November.
