If you ever listen to Steve Wright on Radio 2 then you'll know who Barry is -- he's that crazy old geezer who pops up every now and then in a wheezy voice to tell a few gags. Well... I have news for you. Big news.

He is an imposter.

I believed that he was a real old guy in his dying days, that Steve was too polite to fire. But it turns out that this so-called "Barry" is actually a comedian called "Alex". And he's not 80 either -- he's in his forties. And he's not from Watford either. Even his false teeth are false -- it's all an act!

So if you want to see "Barry" (ahem ahem, cough cough) from "Watford" (wherever that is -- is that even a real place?) then get yourself down to the 100 Club.
