It's 1974, there's a hung parliament... and the UK is facing an economic crisis.

Is a political revolution coming? Will the Labour party collapse? And can the kingdom stay united?

Set in the engine rooms of Parliament, 'This House' strips away the gloss and reveals how politics really works: when the whips roll up their sleeves and bend the rules to coerce their MPs into voting the right way. It's an era of chaos, at times both hilarious and shocking, when high-stake games are played and fist fights break out in the parliamentary bars.
