Last year Billy Bragg and Joe Henry boarded a train at Los Angeles with the idea of recording some classic railroad songs in waiting rooms and at the trackside, whilst the train rattled along the 2,728 miles to Chicago.

On this 'Shine A Light' tour they'll be playing songs from that journey, alongside some favourites from their own back catalogues -- which in Billy's case, probably means having a pop at Margaret Thatcher again. (He does know that she left office nearly a quarter of a century ago, doesn't he?)
