Bizet's 'Carmen' has been transformed into a spectacular ice show by the Iceberg Skating Palace in Sochi.

'Carmen' scandalised 19th-century society with its story of a feisty gypsy attacking a fellow worker. After persuading her guard to release her on the promise of love, she then lustily casts him aside for the glamorous toreador, Escamillo. Consumed by jealousy, Don Jose pursues Carmen to Seville with tragic consequences.

Bizet's rich and timeless score contains some of opera's best-loved numbers including the seductive "Habanera" and Escamillo's rousing "Toreador's Song".

The show will bring together over sixty World, Olympic and European championship skaters, ballet dancers, flamenco dancers, circus performers, musicians and singers, who will astound you with their world class skating, acrobatics, dancing and singing.
