Blackheath's fireworks display is always one of the most popular around -- because it's free!

A crowd of 100,000 is expected to attend this year's event.

The accompanying funfair will get going from 12 noon (but that's not free -- you have to pay for the rides), and the food and drink stalls will start to open from 5 PM. The firework display itself is scheduled to begin at 8 PM.

Note: Please do not bring any sparklers, pets or alcohol.
