There will be a 41-gun salute in Green Park to mark the Colombian State Visit.

His Excellency President Juan Manuel Santos Calderon and Mrs Maria Clemencia Rodriguez de Santos will enjoy an Honour Guard at Horse Guards Parade from 11.45 AM to 12.30 PM, before being escorted up The Mall to Buckingham Palace by the Household Cavalry.

Whilst all of that is going on, the Honourable Artillery Company will be assembling at the Tower of London to deliver a 41-gun salute at 12.10 PM. So if you hear some (very loud) bangs then don't worry — we're just honouring the Colombian President.

Note: Another gun salute will be taking place Green Park at exactly the same time.
